Yves Bismuth has been a lawyer since 1971. He created his own Law Firm in 1974, which has now become Bismuth Associés. He specialises in New Technology law and co-founded with some fellow lawyers the Cipa (a Computer Technology club for the legal profession).

He was President of the French Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications Law (Afdit), former President of the International Federation of Computer Law Associations (Ifcla) from 1998 to 2000 and founder of the Intellectual Property Group of the European lawyers network Eurojuris international. He also teaches Law at University.

Valérie Bourgoin joined the CNC (Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée) as Head of New Technologies. She then looked after the animation sector as part of the audiovisual directorship. In 2006, she moved into video games, digital creation and new media, and her department is currently attached to the audiovisual and digital creation directorship. She has also been a regular jury member and taken part in conferences at animation events.

In 2008, she received the prix Séville de la Relève from the Association of Women in Film, Television, and New Media (WIFTNM).

Independant consultants, René Broca and Christian Jacquemart are in charge of the editorial content of the Forum Blanc 2012 and have been looking after the editorial concept of the Annecy conferences since 2005.

René Broca is a freelance consultant in the fields of animation and digital pictures. He divides his professional activities between preparing and coordinating conferences and professional events and writing studies about the sector.

Patrick Eveno was an actor, director and company manager for 10 years before teaming up with Jacques-Rémy Girerd to create Folimage in 1987.

For the next 16 years he worked with major channels around Europe like France 3, Canal+, Canal J, ZDF, Rai, RTBF, TSR, SVT, YLE, NRK, BBC, ITV etc.

He is a part of the Syndicate of French animation producers (SPFA), a consultant for Cartoon, Procirep and CNC and currently CEO at CITIA.

Lionel Fages is a pioneer of 3D animation, a medium he has been working in since 1984. He is founder and President of the Cube Creative Computer Company, a studio that concentrates its activities on:

  • training: working closely with some of the best French animation schools;
  • production: of commercials, short films, music videos, scientific films and films for amusement parks and TV series;
  • distribution and promotion: with support from a number of festivals (Paris Courts Devant, Dimension 3, Paris FX…).

This year, Cube has produced 3 new stereoscopic films as well as season 2 of the wacky series for Canal+, Kaeloo.

Bruno Felix is Executive Director of Submarine, one of the leading transmedia production companies in the Netherlands, that is trying to push the boundaries of visual culture with projects that exploit new forms of storytelling, such as the animated documentary My Second Life or the transmedia experience Collapsus. He has also worked with renowned directors such as Douglas Gayeton, Tommy Pallotta and Peter Greenaway.

Guillaume Hellouin is a 3D pioneer and started the digital FX department in a video post-production company in Paris in 1990. He then became Head of Productions at Medialab (Canal+ group). He created the animation and visual effects studio Sparx* in 1994, and founded TeamTO with four other associates in 2005.

Olivier Henriot started out at Ubisoft as a script writer in January 2002, working on all the narrative-driven projects there. He is currently their Scriptwriting Expert, and looks after all the narrative aspects in Ubisoft's games and transmedia products from pitch to dialogue continuity, voice recording and creating strong characters.
He is a member of the piloting committee of the SNAC-BD, and is a published graphic novel writer under the pen name of Henscher (published by Casterman and Le Lombard).

Christophe Jankovic created Primea Linea Productions in 1995 with Valérie Schermann. The company has since produced many animation films, commercials and commissioned films.
He has co-produced the following films with Valérie Schermann:

  • Loulou et autres loups, 2003, animated feature by Grégoire Solotareff, Serge Elissalde and Fromental,
  • McGuire, Caillou, Chalet, Petit-Roulet.
  • U, 2006, animated feature by Grégoire Solotareff and Serge Elissalde.
  • Fear(s) of the Dark, 2007, a collective animated feature.
  • The Man with the Blue Gordini, 2009, animated short by Jean-Christophe Lie.
  • Zarafa, to be released in 2012, animated feature by Rémi Bezançon and Jean-Christophe Lie.


He is also co-publishing, with Albin Michel, the e-book The Fairy Herbarium by Benjamin Lacombe, 2011.

He currently sits on the board of directors of the Festival du Nouveau Cinema (FNC) and the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM).

Baptiste Manin created Allokids, specialised in leisure and entertainment for children and the family, in 2009 and launched the website giving information for children's activities, allofamille.fr, in 2010. One year later, allofamille.fr is the 5th most visited Children's site (Médiamétrie Netrating, children's category – excluding e-commerce). He is also developing the concept of a kid's online holiday camp for 7 to 12 year-olds, Kawi Park. Kawipark.com sera will be launched on open Beta in December 2011 and the series shown on France 3 in early 2012.

Dominique Richard is an audiovisual specialist in the world of politics. From 2007 to 2009, he successfully implemented the reform of the Tasca production decrees with David Kessler and has also been involved in other notable reports such as "Télévision publique, l'heure de vérité" in 2006 and "Audiovisuel 2015" about the changes caused by new trends in audiovisual consumption in 2011.

He is currently a CSA mediator for the circulation of works, member of the Cese and commissioner at the Cnil, in charge of audiovisual issues.

Stéphane Singier is Senior Project Officer at the Cap Digital Business Cluster and one of the pioneers of digital in France. In 1987, he created one of the first 3D content and visual reality studios, Z-A Production, with Maurice Benayoun. For the next 17 years as CEO there, he produced a number of world firsts (directed by Maurice Benayoun): Les Quarxs, first 3D series in HD; The Tunnel under the Atlantic, the first tele-visual installation; the SAScube, the first visual reality theatre using a cluster of PCs.
He helped to create the Cap Digital Paris Region Business Cluster in 2005, and became Head of R&D projects for the cinema, TV, video games, 3D, VFX, VR and AR, when it opened in 2006. In 2010, he was General Commissioner for Futur en Seine 2011, a festival focusing on digital creation.

Marc Tessier is chairman of Vidéo Futur Entertainment Group SA. From 1999 to 2005 he served as chairman of France Télévisions. In February 2007 he submitted a report on "the press and the digital challenge" to the French Ministry of Culture and Communications. This report investigates the situation of the press as it deals with the digital boom.
