Doxwise is an online documentary series portraying 4 young people through 10 weeks of their lives.
Each of the 4 has been given a camera to individually document their day to day lives and the series of events are streamed on the interned during the 10 weeks.
Each week 4 new “web-isodes” are uploaded and underneath the screen there is a chat forum where the viewers can write their own comments on the episodes and this way interact with the participants. As Doxwise is updated daily these comments often have an effect on the next “web-isodes”.
Doxwise has run for two seasons in Denmark and Copenhagen Bombay are currently in development with a 3rd season.

Can you make good use of the social network? Is it possible for advertisers and creators of contents to work together for their mutual benefit? Will we be seeing new or complimentary forms of funding? Changes in habits and the proliferation of screens are creating a different approach to consumer strategy towards cross-media programmes and introducing a new situation in dealings with brands. Olivier Missir and Frédéric Josué will be analysing the difficulties... and the opportunities.

Young production companies working in documentaries and live action have already acquired a working knowledge of cross-media which is only very rarely shared in the animation sector. They have been able to draw on this experience regarding mobilisable skills, writing constraints, funding and an access to a public that could be a source of inspiration or even an opportunity for collaboration with their counterparts in animation.
